PROVIDING REGULAR FLIGHTS & DELIVERIES INTO REMOTE AIRSTRIPS AROUND PAPUA NEW GUINEA
“BECAUSE WE CARE ABOUT YOU FARMERS & SME'S"

Flying the PNG Skies for 30years

North Coast Aviation is a third-level airline that has been serving the remote areas of Papua New Guinea for 30 years. North Coast Aviation started operations particularly in Morobe Province in December 1990, moving from our original base in Madang when Talair closed up. We have been in operation without any major support or subsidies from any Government bodies but we have achieved a lot silently in terms of continued service delivery in the Morobe and Gulf Provinces.

Our Planes & Services

Ensuring Your Saftey

Operating with a fixed-wing aircrafts, our regular operations span within Nadzab, Wau and Kerema.

We have 2 PAC-750XL aircrafts and piston engine BN-2B Islander aircraft. The PAC-750XL can carry 1,000kg out of most strips in Morobe while the BN-2B Islandder can carry 700kg.

We are available for nationwide charters. As an AOC holder (Air Operator’s Certificate iaw CAR Part 119), North Coast Aviation strives to maintain stringent training procedures for all it’s pilots to ensure that flying operations meet the requirement under Part 91 and 135 of the Civil Aviation Rules and that Safety is the paramount function whilst proving efficient air services. While we are aware that our aircraft are susceptible to the “wear and tear” of the bush strips, we have been continuously striving to perfect the type of bush operations that we have been doing for 30 years now. We have come far by safely managing the risks involved in our operations. North Coast Aviation also holds an MOC (Maintenance Organisation Certificate iaw CAR Part 145) so that we carry out our own aircraft maintenance at Nadzab. We have done maintenance for other operators like us.
